The Zeitgeist Media Festival will be held worldwide September 10 | 11  2011

The festival is a way for chapters to reach out within their local communities and join with other like minded local groups and organizations to bring awareness to many issues that plague the world today and to inform the people of the world of a solution supported by the Zeitgeist Movement that is a Resource Based Economy.

The Zeitgeist Media Festival will be officially held on either September 10th or September 11th with some chapters holding events on both days. THE MAIN EVENT will be held in LA. Although many chapters hold regular events throughout the year, the Zeitgeist Media Festival is designed, similar to the Zeitgeist Day worldwide event, to unify the chapters worldwide to all participate on a single day. This in turn creates a single mass large scale event that, in numbers, reaches into the many thousands of participants and spectators from many hundreds of chapters in dozens of countries worldwide. This is the power of a single unified Zeitgeist Media Festival. Power is in numbers.

Unlike Z Day, the Zeitgeist Media Festival is designed to be a local community festival that is free to attend, an all ages event and is a fun and entertaining atmosphere of knowledge through the arts. From block parties and street festivals to larger events in city parks everyone can get involved and help make the Zeitgeist Media festival a huge success!

What is the GOAL? To put the name Zeitgeist on the lips of millions around the world. To have the conversation at work the following Monday go something like this.... "What did you do this weekend"? "I went to a Zeitgeist Festival". That's spreading awareness on a large scale!
